CONTROVERSY TRAILS DEATH OF UNILAG UNDERGRADUATE

Controversy has continued to trail the death of Miss Musa Temitope, a University of Lagos undergraduate who was reported dead at the early hours of Wednesday.

The 100 level students of Education and Chemistry who has been identified to be the governor of her class was said to have died after vomiting blood.

As against reports by some prints and online media that she died at the medical center, The Press Club gathered that the deceased was earlier taken to the medical center by her friends when she first showed signs of illness. It was further gathered that she was given adequate medical attention and medical test was conducted on her and was cleared medically okay before she left the medical center.

She was reported to have been taken home to her family for proper care on Tuesday when the situation persists. The news of her death broke out about two days after.

The press club gathered that the deceased was not a legal residence of Moremi Hall but was squatting with a friend. As at press time, the Press Club also gathered that the bonafide who squatted her was not evicted from the hostel contrary to information being circulated that she was evicted.
