The Non-Academic Staff Union Of Educational And Associated Institutions(NASU), disclosed to the public their intention as they set to embark on a warning-strike starting from On the 30th, March 2020.
This is consequent to the members of NASU experiencing disorder and disarrays in payment roll. They expressed their reasons as a displeasure at the failure and malfunctioning system of the Integrated payroll and personal information system(IPPIS) platform
In a letter to the FG, NASU explained to have designated a proposed meetings with the Federal Government. The aftermath of this proposed meeting will determine the institute next action.
Failure of this will force Federal Universities, Federal Polythenics, Federal colleges of Education and inter-Universities centre to a 7-days warning strike, starting from the 30th of March.
Hostels, Libaries and Laboratories will follow this directive, due to been under the Umbrella of NASU.
