UNIBEN Admits 25% Out Of 50,055 Applicants

The University of Benin has admitted and matriculated 25% out of its total applicants of 50,055 who sought admission into the university.

50, 055 candidates had earlier applied for University of Benin 2021/2022 academic session.

Among the total application of 55,055 candidates, only 12, 241 students were admitted which made up a fraction of 24.45, approximately 25%.

In its virtually-held matriculation ceremony, The University Vice-Chancellor, Professor Lilian Salami described the new intakes as the ‘few lucky ones who had the opportunity to gain admission into the prestigious University.

The event which was held on the 10th of August 2021 featured the University’s Principal Officers such as Provost, Deans, Directors, and its matriculating students online.

Professor Lilian enjoined the new students of UNIBEN to be law-abiding learners of the great university.

The Vice Chancellor later reminded the new students that they were in school to study and must take their education serious.
