On Monday 20th of September 2021, The management of Yaba College of Technology (YABATECH) lifted the ban on students union activities, this information was made known to the students through the dean of students’ affairs, Mr Balogun.
The statement informs the students about the lifting of the ban on students union activities in the campus.
Also, An electoral committee chaired by the former Deputy Rector (Administration), Dr.M.A Adebakin has been constituted to see the conduct of Students’ Union Election.
The management urge students to reciprocate the kind gesture they received from the college management and conduct themselves in a manner that will ensure peace and order continues to reign in the campus.
Recall that the students union government has been suspended for over 5 years by Mrs Margaret Kudirat Ladipo the former Rector of the college.
