After the drama that trailed the social media between the student executive council and student legislative council arms of ULSU regarding the cancellation of ULSU’s “FRESHERS’ ORIENTATION” and “LEGEND UNITE” by the SLC, the social secretary has claimed that he went ahead with the event because the president did not inform him of the cancellation. The social secretary said this at the parliamentary session while he was been questioned by the parliamentarians on why he chooses to go ahead with the event despite the cancellation by the SLC.
