The National Association of Social Work Students (NASOWS), University of Lagos held a week long activities to commemorate the 2017 World Social Work Day.
The commemoration of the March 21st World Social Work Day held between Monday 20th – Friday 24th 2017.
Some of the highlights of the activities include visit to both primary and secondary schools to give motivational and career talks, video documentary, workshop on youth leadership and sexual health among others.
Speaking with our correspondence, Omotolani Fadahunsi, a student and member of the association, applauds the executives of the department for the successful events stressing the need to organise more of such.
The President, Okafor Henry Chukwudi while appreciating the students for their cooperation on making the week long commemoration a success also promised more developmental and fun filled programmes.
