Professor Iyiola Oni of the Department of Geography, Faculty of Social Sciences delivered the 5th inaugural lecture of the 2016/2017 session in the University of Lagos.
Professor Iyiola delivered the lecture yesterday 19th of April 2017 at the main auditorium of the University of Lagos. The lecture was presided over by the Vice Chancellor of the University, Professor Rahman Bello.
Iyiola Oni, a Professor of Transportation Geography who doubles as the Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences delivered a lecture on the topic: A Spatio-Temporal Restructuring of Transportation Systems in Nigeria.
Some of the dignitaries present at the lecture were Professor Toyin Ogundipe (Dvc Academics and Research), Professor Ben Oghojafor (Dvc Management services), Professor Folasade Ogunsola (Dvc Development Services), Professor Ralph Akinfeleye (Chairman, Unilag Radio), Professor Olarewaju Fagbohun(Vice Chancellor, Lagos State University) among others.
In his remark, the Vice Chancellor, University of Lagos, Professor Rahman Bello acknowledges all dignitaries present to include the family of the lecturer of the day. He further discharge and acquit the inaugural lecturer, noting that he has paid his dues. He concluded by wishing everyone present safe journey back to their various destinations.
