You thought because she came to visit you, she wanted something. You decided to ‘give’ it to her and she kept saying NO! But as a ‘man’, you needed to pester her and stand your ground, she kept shrugging and asked you to stop, but ‘Konji’ wouldn’t allow you think straight. Alas! You had your way with her.
Oh! You thought because she didn’t cry during the heinous act or shout meant she enjoyed it. You even tried ‘bribing’ her with sweet words, gift and even Uber ride. Brother, there is no subtle way to state this, YOU ARE A RAPIST!

As much as you might wanna say, *She took my money and gifts!* or *We’ve been together for years!*. You’re on your way to jail.
My sister, have you been raped before? It ain’t your fault because there is *NO EXCUSE for Rape*. Speak out and seek justice. You need to know that the Maximum Sentence for Rape in Nigeria is *Life Imprisonment*, but it’s quite appalling and sad to state that fear of STIGMATISATION and POOR JUSTICE SYSTEM etc. have affected the full effect of this law.
Many still find it hard to believe that the evil act of rape is still being practiced. Yes, it is, because you don’t see it on the front cover of the dailies doesn’t mean some bad elements don’t indulge in it. The ‘more unfortunate’ aspect is that people that are ‘supposedly learned’ are also big time perpetrators of this act, and this needs to STOP NOW!
Is high time we added our voice and kick this menace out of our society for good! *Say No to Rape*.
