Those are the lyrics in the first line of the GTBank song, and it never gets old. How do you spend each new morning? Snuggled up in bed? Or maybe doing the same old routine — wake up, eat, catch up on social media, eat, watch movies, eat and chat till the sun sets again.
When last did you do something new, say learn a new skill through an online course? While not just stopping there but putting it into action.
Ever heard of Project Management, Product Management, UI/UX Design, Virtual Assistant? Why not take a look at these and try learning more about what you can do with it.
Just because you do a customer service course doesn’t mean you have to apply for a customer service role. It means you can use the skills such as communication, listening, and even resiliency skills to get your dream job with the certificate.
It’s so easy to come up with a list of 10 reasons why you can’t do something new today. Don’t believe me, give it a try right now. I’m sure you’ve got at least 3 reasons on the tip of your tongue.
You don’t have to do what everyone is doing, so get a move on. Figure out yourself rather than waiting for people’s next moves.
Blending in with people and repeating what everyone does might seem comfortable but in this cutthroat world we live in, you need to figure out how you can stand out as the most qualified.
So get your hands clicking to find an online course to do. Check out YouTube whilst at it, I mean, it’s been referred to as a school of its own with all the resources available on it.

- Apply for internship roles to gain some months of experience in your preferred role
- Work with friends on a project requiring your skills to build your portfolio
- Get a mentor with experience to guide you on your path
- Enjoy the process of searching and thinking, it’s worth the results
Does this mean you can’t relax, de-stress, or enjoy the days that come by? NO. It means that with the days of relaxation, come days of hard work and perseverance towards the creation of the future that you dream and desire for yourself. And as you wake up to a new day, you’ll be ready to give it your best.
