University of Lagos Ask Students To Vacate Hostel For Election

The management of the University of Lagos (UNILAG) has asked students to vacate hostels from February 22nd to 23rd according to the directives issued by the National Universities Commission.

The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Ogunsola disclosed this to students in a meeting between VC and students executives held on the 16th of February, 2023

The VC said no student will be allowed to stay in the hostels during the election break due to security issues.

Recall that the National Universities Commission (NUC) has issued a directive asking public universities to suspend academic activities from Wednesday 22nd of February to Tuesday 14th of March 2023 for the upcoming general election.
