The application window into Origami Fellowship 2025 is still open. Origami Society Nigeria is calling for students and professionals to its flagship fellowship program, where they plan for fellows to: “unleash their creativity, hone their leadership skills, and drive meaningful social change through the ancient Japanese art of Origami.”

Origami Society Nigeria is a non-governmental organization in Nigeria which describes its mission as ‘’harness[ing] the transformative power of Origami [an age-old Japanese art-form which entirely uses paper] to promote mental health, emotional resilience, and social engagement across all ages and abilities.”

According the organization, the Origami Fellowship 2025 program is one to:

‘’Lead Development: Gain essential skills to lead with authenticity, inspire others, and create lasting change.

“Discover a New Purpose: Explore how Origami transcends art to foster problem-solving, innovation, and emotional resilience.

‘’Network with Visionaries: Connect with a vibrant global community of leaders, creatives, and changemakers who share your passion for impactful work.

‘’Make a Social Impact: Learn how to use Origami as a tool for education, wellness, and community development in your local and global environment.”

Acceptable application entries are primarily expected from: ‘’students seeking to integrate creativity into their academic and professional pursuits; professionals passionate about leveraging their talents for community development; and educators and Innovators looking for creative ways to inspire and empower others.’’

The organziers promise: ‘’practical training in the art and application of Origami; access to exclusive workshops and mentorship from global Origami leaders; a platform to implement your own community impact project; and a certificate of completion, recognition as a fellow, and lifelong membership in the Origami Society Nigeria network.’’
