Tomorrow, 4th of November 2025, the University of Lagos will begin the first edition of its Registry Week.

The Registry Week is an event organized by the registry arm of the University of Lagos. This arm serves as the heartbeat of the University’s administrative structure, responsible for managing official records, documentation and administrative data.

The maiden edition of the registry week is a three-day event, set to hold from Tuesday, November 4, to Thursday November 6, 2025.

Under the theme: University Administration: The Future is Now, the Registry Week is put together as an avenue to celebrate the invaluable contributions of Registry staff to the university’s administrative excellence. It also ⁠serves as an opportunity to reflect on the evolving role of registry officers, while fostering team spirit, professional growth, and innovation in service delivery.

As arranged by the university, the program schedule for the three-day event include:

Day 1: Tuesday, November 4, 2025

Awareness Walk at Akoka Campus 10:00 – 11:30 a.m.

Awareness Walk at Idi-Araba Campus 10:00 – 11:30 a.m.

Day 2: Wednesday, November 5, 2025

Financial Literacy Session 10:00 – 11:30 a.m.

Medical Outreach 12:00 – 6:00 p.m.

Sporting Activities (Novelty Match, Relay Race, and Dancing Competition) 12:00 – 6:00 p.m.

Day 3: Thursday, November 6, 2025

Registry Week Lecture 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

In the spirit of showing up and showing out, the university also shared the dress codes for the event.

Tuesday, November 4, 2025 = UNILAG Registry Week T-Shirt

Wednesday, November 5, 2025 = Smart-Casual/Sporty Wear

Thursday, November 6, 2025 = UNILAG Registry Week Ankara

The 2025 Registry Week aims to empower Registry staff through a series of thought-provoking conversations and memorable activities.

The University of Lagos urges members of the Registry, the entire UNILAG community and friends of the institution to join in celebration of dedication, teamwork and innovation.
